We were welcomed by a great private campsite, by pressing on past Little Deadman’s Bay, and just barely had enough time and energy to enjoy it before passing out for the night.

Unlike the scenes the previous day, we lucked out with fantastic weather for our assault n the Ironbound Range. This photo was taken about 300m above the Louisa River campsite, only one third of the way up the range. The steep 900m descent through mud and heavy foliage is psychologically challenging. As such, there aren’t any photos of that bit.
